WW1 Imperial German Seitengewehr model 1884/98 with fullered single edged balde 247mm in length. Maker marked "Weyersburg & Kirchbaum & Co, Solingen". Spine of blade marked with Wurtemburg crown and dated 1888. Regimental marks to the crossguard. Overall length 382mm. Working release catch. Complete with steel scabbard.
Good overall condition. Some rust pitting to scabbard overall.
