More Information

'The Fellowship of the Ring': Book is very bright, with slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and a small spot of adhesive residue to the front board as photographed. Dust wrapper sunned to the spine, with slight splits to the joints, and a large split to the joint of the front flap. Otherwise, spot of water damage to the front cover and small tear along the front joint beside the publisher's mark. Book is firmly bound; pages are bright and clean. Map is very smart; no tears or loss, and bright. 'The Two Towers': Book is very bright, a touch of bumping to the tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is sunned to the spine with a little chipping to the head; otherwise minor wear (this is the smartest dust wrapper). Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Map has a few minor creases to the edges as photographed, but is otherwise very smart. 'The Return of the King': Again, book is very bright, with just the lightest bumping. Dust wrapper is sunned to the spine with a water stain to the title and another across the head of the spine and front cover. Very slight chipping to the head and tail of the spine. Binding is maybe a touch loose, with very slight straining throughout. Map is again in excellent condition.
