A SETH PENNINGTON PORCELAIN SAUCE BOAT, 1778-90, of moulded oval form with plain lobes painted in polychrome enamels with exotic birds in landscape, 5 1/2" wide, bears NCS Liverpool Exhibition label number 128, together with a Liverpool small teapot and cover of globular form, painted in underglaze blue and clobbered in iron red with stylised flowers, 6" wide (2) (Est. plus 24% premium inc. Sauceboat has tiny chips to lip and an extended firing crack to rim. Teapot has a minute chip to spout otherwide good, but glaze badly fritted.
