A fine Irish silver salver having pie crust border and raised on three elegant feet with later inscription on the back.
The salver dates from 1753 - 1754 and weighs 41 troy ozs. Inscription reads - 'I leave this Salver to my dear and valued friend Savage French hoping that he may keep it in remembrance of one who greatly valued his friendship' Francis A. C. Whalley, Died May 19th 1898.
