each piece painted with the scene of children going to school with their mother at the door bidding them farewell in a European village scene beneath a blue enamel border, all heightened in gilt, consisting of a teapot with double rope-twist handle, cover and stand, tea caddy and cover, cream jug and cover, sugar bowl and cover, spoon tray, two tea bowls, four coffee cups and three saucers.
