A VINTAGE SILVER SALVER, square form with scroll edge raised on four scrolling feet, marked Birmingham 1930, presented to celebrated late 19th Century cyclist W.S Yeoman, the salver inscribed with the following dedication:
'Anerley Bicycle Club, presented to W.S Yeoman Esq. as a memento of the fastest 100 miles ridden on any type of machine. Time: 3 hours, 47 minutes, 21 4/5 secs, Worlds Record, Herne Hill Track, London, July 6th, 1895', the salver comes with an album of press clippings related to W.S Yeoman and other notable cyclists of the era
