Mid 19c English pair cased verge pocket watch, the movement signed Jas. Shilling, Milton and having an unusually decorated balance cock and ringed pillars. the white dial has Arabic numerals and the movement is contained in silver pair cases hallmarked for London 1830. 5.5cms dia.

The chain is detached from the barrel and so will not run, but the balance will still swing. the dial has some chipping around its rim and a hairline crack from 12 to 2. One hand has been replaced. the glass is rubbed and opaque and the stem is bent slightly and the bow missing.
