English School, early 20th century, Five hand coloured etchings of exotic birds, comprising Momotus Platyrhynchus (Broad-billed Motmot) plate 5; Petrocinda Rufiventus (Blue Thrush) plate 129; Eunystemus Gularis ( Blue-throated Roller) plate 109, initials WC or WL; Fregen Reinwardtu (Toucan) plate 130; and Upupa Capernis (Hooopoe) plate 142, dated 1835, later impressions, 9 ¼ x 12 ¼in. (23.5 x 31.1cm), modern gold fluted frames. (5) * Colours strong but badly foxed. Acidic mount.
