Unmarked gold sapphire and diamond ring set with a central sapphire and twelve diamonds, size I, approximate weight 2.8g
The sapphire is an oval cut, the sapphire is a very dark blue almost black in some lighting conditions, colour zoning can be seen with magnification inside the sapphire. The sapphire is surrounded by twelve little bright, white modern round brilliant cut stones, the stones weigh approximately 0.05ct each, totalling 0.6ct. Approximately one third of the diamonds have strong florescence, and the piece is in good condition commensurate with age.
