A Geo III oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, the square painted dial for William Evans, Shrewsbury (active c1790 - 1847), with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, with foliate spandrels, with eight day movement, the crossbanded trunk door flanked by fluted quarter columns, on square base with bracket feet, 234cm high, 56cm wide.
