19th century English School, watercolour, 'Detached squadron getting underweigh from St Thomas', West Indies 1873', 30.5 x 50cm
Condition: Overall a little faded with the dark buff coloured ground paper showing through, one small worm hole near the left corner, scratched damage near the base margin, no sign of any signature, housed in what was once a high quality ebonised frame with the detailed title plaque, no inscriptions verso.
