Street art by Fan HC. A set of pine bi-fold doors from Camden Lock market painted by Fanakapan in 2014, then removed during market renovation in 2016. Fan, abbreviated from Fanakapan is a separate artist but oftenworks in collaboration with the Horror Crew (hence Fan HC). Their pupular work appears across East London and often creates non-offensive art that will bring a smile to people’s faces. Commonly depicting balloons, lifelike animals and abstract colourful objects, they pioneered the balloon style of street art. Instagram: @fanakapan . Approx W 244cm, H 206cm. All the doors offered in this sale were painted between 2014-15 by different established artists. The project was organised by an advocacy group called 'The Real Art of Street Art' to visually enhance the wider Camden Lock market area. Called 'an outdoor art gallery' by some at the time, the street art project received a great response from the public while erected. All the doors can be viewed and inspected at the free Camden Doors exhibition via The View Gallery, Wootton Bassett between 23rd May-1st June.
