A North Eastern Railway signal box nameboard, KIRKBY THORE, from the western end of the Stainmore route, the box situated between Appleby and Penrith. The station closed in 1953 and the route itself in 1962. Enamel, 37"x7", edge chips and minor blemishes, excellent colour and shine. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
