An early Victorian mahogany shaving stand, circular plate in moulded frame supported on a ratchet adjustable column with lobed handle and brass fittings, circular dished mid tier shelf, on a turned gun barrel column, raised on three carved and moulded cabriole legs and brass castors, 50 by 115cm high. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
