The Beatles - John Lennon (d.1980), Paul McCartney, George Harrison (d.2001) and Ringo Starr - an incredibly rare period 1960s 8x10" black and white publicity photograph of the band, autographed by all four members to the front. The photograph taken by Dezo Hoffman shows the Fab Four walking a street in London. Signed over their respective figures, in blue ink, with one adding the dedication 'Best Wishes To Susan'. McCartney signing in a darker area across his chest, the others signing in clear areas. Some handling marks to the photograph, and light creases to the very corners, but no tears or large folds, and should be considered in VG+ to EX condition for its age. Unframed. Autographed photographs of all four members of The Beatles from the period are considered extremely rare, and represent one of the most sought after pieces of memorabilia in the world.
Provenance; a family friend of the vendor's Father was John Wall (Baron Wall) - managing director of EMI Records. As a teenager the vendor asked her Father if Sir John could get the autographs of the Beatles for her and her Sister. Some weeks later, this signed photograph arrived. She is the 'Susan' mentioned on the photograph.
