JAMAICA - PAIR OF "GREENOCK" + "SHIP" COVERS WITH DIFFERENT SIZE TOWN MARKS; 1783/86 pair of ELs to Stirling by private ships from "Montego Bay, Jamaica" or "Saltamarsh near Martha Brae", the first endorsed "P the Ship Glasgow", and both with mainly fine handstruck "SHIP" Marks and matching "GREENOCK" marks (the first example of a larger size) on their front or lower flap, charged "4" or "5" (the inland rate had increased by 1d in 1784).
