"The History of the East Surrey Regiment" in 3 volumes - Volume I covers 1702-1914; Volume II: 1914-1917 and Volume III: 1917-1919, compiled by Colonel Pearse and Brigadier General Sloman, published 1916, 1923 and 1924. Volume III includes a nominal roll of WOs, NCOs and men who were killed in action, or died of wounds or disease in the war 1914-1919. Half calf bound, the covers embossed with gilt badge of the East Surrey Regiment. Generally GC (spines worn, particularly to Vol I which is very worn, some foxing to pages)
