9.8ins tall. An extraordinary Reform style flask, in red earthenware clay, the top half modelled as Queen Victoria, orb in hands, the lower section a stylish spherical shape.The
entire flask featuring sgraffito detailing with yellow slip like additional work, all covered in a clear glaze. Some minor overall wear ( a few of the applied ‘dots’ missing), but generally sound. A significant Queen Victoria piece. (8.5/10) . Amended extra information: discovered a reputed very rare English slipware flask c. 1837 (after a painting by George Haytor)
