A George II silver tankard, indistinct maker's mark, with banded girdle, hinged domed cover and openwork thumbpiece, the handle with engraved initials, London, 1736, height 18cm, 23.5oz.

Surface scratches in places and a few minor bumps and dings. Repair to the thumbpiece. Lid unmarked.
