Militaria: a collection of twenty-eight military subject postcards, including RP, regimental crests, comic, etc., and an album of fifty vintage black and white photographs depicting farming and military subjects, together with a 71st Regiment of Foot glengarry badge (a lot) The 71st (Highland) Regiment of Foot was a light infantry regiment raised in 1777. It distinguished itself in the war with France following the 1789 revolution and subsequent rise of Napoleon, and fought at Waterloo. The Regiment also served in India during the Mutiny and on the North-West Frontier. It was amalgamated with the 74th (Highland) Regiment of Foot in 1881 to form the Highland Light Infantry.
