A near pair of Chinese porcelain ginger jars, Qing, 19th century, each similarly decorated, one with a figure fishing, the other with two seated figures conversing, each with buildings with a mountainous background and a lake, 17cm & 17.3cm
The jar with two seated figures has stress cracks to the glaze at the rear. Otherwise, both jars are free from any further obvious faults, no obvious chips or signs of restoration.
