Persian rug, the madder field with 6 anchor medallions and all-over stylised floral decoration, surrounded by a floral border, lesser borders, and guard stripes, 146 x 104cm
The carpet is fairly heavy for it's size, the shallow pile is slightly silky. 2cm stain in border, not paint, selvedges are in good condition, slightly curled 1 end due to it being rolled, lies flat, half label on one corner, no foul odours!
