German Third Reich Luftwaffe 1st pattern Officer’s dagger by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Good example circa 1935 with twist wire bound blue leather grip, plated mounts with toned gilt mobile swastika to centre of pommel and down swept cross-guard on both sides. Double edged plated blade bearing Eickhon's 1933-35 oval squirrel logo. Housed in its blue leather covered steel scabbard with plated mounts and aluminium chains retaining spring clip. Service wear and toned. GC Introduced in 1935 discontinued 1937.
