Original vintage GPO General Post Office advertising poster - 'Suppress' Your Car! - featuring a sad smiley face radio receiving antenna with a smiling face below set over a light blue background. This poster was raising awareness of radio signal interference from idling cars. Radio interference can come from the charging circuit or ignition system, but it can also be caused by any electrical accessory in the car. Fair condition, tears, pinholes, staining, fold, creasing, paint splatters. Country of issue: UK, designer: Stuart Silvey, size (cm): 37x24.5, year of printing: 1953.
