Medals (2) of 32502 (134551) Private John Henry Lovesay of the East Surrey Regiment. British War Medal 1914-1920, and Allied Victory Medal 1914-1918. A resident of Great Barrow, near Chester. Enlisted on 20th December 1916 into 4 Company, 1st Battalion, East Surrey Regiment. Posted to England on 28th October 1917. Transferred on 10th December 1917 to Royal Army Medical Corps. Landed in Salonika on 14th March 1918. Died of pneumonia at 50th General Hospital, Greece, 11th December 1918.
