Army Ordnance Corps Officers helmet. A fine post 1901 example of the Home Service Pattern blue cloth helmet, complete with gilt metal cross piece, spike and rose head bosses which secure the velvet backed chin chain. To the front, a gilt metal helmet plate of standard Corps pattern. Retains leather sweatband (silk edging shot) to interior. Overall VGC Gilt bright and fresh. No evidence of previous plate worn
