Rare 1914 Scotland Rugby XV Photograph: v England played at Inverleith on 21st March 1914, their last international match before the outbreak of World War 1. Six of the side (Wallace, Young, Huggan, Will, Turner and Milroy) would lose their lives during the war, while four would represent Scotland again after the War (Usher, Angus, Maxwell and Laing).
