Zoomorphic Laver Spout. Circa 15th century AD. Copper-alloy, 78mm x 40mm x 26mm, 56.2g. The head of the spout is modelled in the form of a dog head. This is an example of a well known 15th century type and it would originally have been attached to a pedestal base ewer. An example is illustrated in Read (2021: 153) no. 769, dating to the 15th century.
