A FIRST WORLD WAR PAIR TO THE ROYAL ARTILLERY. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 65729 Gnr A. Edward Mason R.A. Albert E. Mason, a painter from Surrey, attested for the Royal Artillery at the age of 32 on the 8th November 1915. A married man with a daughter, Hetty. He is reported suffering from Pyrexia in December 1916 whilst serving with the 89th Siege Battery.
