A VERY GOOD QUALITY 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD TRAVELLING WRITING BOX, with brass engraved campaign handle to the hinged lid; ‘Thomas Farmer Baily, Hall Place, Tunbridge, Kent’, with a J. Bramah 124 Piccadilly lock, and a Combs Patent leather clad campaign ink jar box. The interior has two lift out leather clad trays, with some mechanical drawing tools and an envelope opener. The top has a clasped fall front documents holder also. A really great antique table top writing box. Dimensions of box: 41 x 29.5 x 14cm (D x W x H).
