George III silver tankard by Peter & Anne Bateman, London 1797, of cylindrical form with moulded girdle and flared foot, the scrolled handle with heart terminal and the domed hinged cover with pierced thumbpiece, 20cm high, 24ozt approx.
Light surface scratches, accretions, tarnishing. Edge of lid slightly mishappen in places. Small dent to top of lid. General wear and tear.
