DATED 1733 SEALED MALLET WINE BOTTLE. 9ins tall. Dark olive green glass, unusual long neck, sloping shoulders. Front seal, with a delightful glass trail @ 11-o-clock: W.M/ 1733. Thin applied lip, really rough kick up base pontil. Rear drill hole & some internal residue don’t detract from the display. We feel this could possibly be a Scottish made bottle? Quite an extraordinary and unusual item for sure. (8/10) NR
