German M40 untouched example of a combat helmet, rough textured overprint over whole helmet. This covers the Single Decal that was applied, and over time, some small areas have been uncovered revealing the silver finish of the eagle. The outline of the applied decal is clearly visible in shadow outline. The shell is stamped "Q" for Quist, size 66, size 58 liner, lot number stamped 'T1344'. Good item
