A nameplate NORMAN with its matching worksplate HUDSWELL, CLARKE D774 of 1950, from a standard gauge 200HP 0-4-0 diesel mechanical locomotive new to Port of Bristol Authority, Avonmouth Docks with the running number D2001. Sold around 1969 to Albright & Wilson Ltd for use at their Portishead works and scrapped there in July 1973. The nameplate is 17"x4½", the worksplate 13"x8½", each in ex loco condition.
