Pair of Bowie knives: 155mm long blade maker marked to ricasso "Johnson Western Works, Sheffield". Brass crossguard. Horn grip. Nickle silver pommel. Overall length 275mm. No scabbard: Along with a commemorative Bowie knife with 130mm long blade with 1776-1976 dedication "The Americans pride equal rights, equal laws & equal justice to all". Maker marked to blade "G Wostenholm & Son, Washington Works, Sheffield, England" plus "I*XL" mark to ricasso. Nickle silver crossguard and white metal grip. Overall length 240mm. No scabbard. (2)

More Information

Blades to both knives are in good condition, no rust or pitting. The gilding to the legend on the American commemorative knife is worn. Some sharpening to the example with the horn grip.
