A Huntley & Palmers novelty tinplate biscuit tin in the form of eight leather bound books - late 19th century, with lithographed decoration, hinged lid, printed mark 'Huntley & Palmers Biscuits Reading & London' to underside, 16cm high.
* Condition: Crease to tin to top of the right side. Some tarnish spotting to the sides and front of the tin, and a few small patches of wear to the decoration showing the bare tin beneath, plus some edge wear and very light surface rust to the leather strap. The hinged lid opens and closes cleanly. Overall in fair to good condition.
