A banded agate carved cameo, the oval cameo carved to depicting Julius Caesar facing dexter, within a gold coloured mount with rope twist detail, with associated pale polished pedant bale, cameo 4.2cm long
There is a minor chip to the right hand corner of Julius Caesars' robes.
Residue seen throughout, would benefit from a clean.
Minor surface scratches seen to front and reverse, commensurate with age and wear.
Tarnishing to mount.
Pendant bale is possibly a later associated example.
