WW1 British Artillery Officers Sword with presentation etched single edged fullered blade 827mm in length, proof marked, maker marked "Fenton brothers Ltd, Sheffield Sword Cutlers to the War Office". GRV etched panels to both sides of the blade. One panel with presentation inscription "Presented to 2/Lt. F.L. Farrington by the members of No.2 Artillery Coy C.P.D.V Jan. 1917". (Calcutta Port Defence Volunteers). Wire bound Shagreen grip. Complete with white leather sword knot. Overall length 975mm. Complete with leather scabbard.
