A rare 6 shot .36" Crimean War period British Ordnance issue Colt Model 1851 London Navy percussion revolver, number 14102 (1854), the breech bearing broad arrow over "WD" mark, the breech and cylinder bearing ordnance proof marks, with deeply stamped London address on the barrel, and with steel trigger guard and backstrap. GWO & Generally GC (well worn overall, probably from much service use, some deep scratches to one grip). Note In 1854 the British Government contracted for 4,000 Colt revolvers for the Navy Baltic and Black Sea fleets, so No 14102 is presumably one of these. £800-1000
