A late 19th century French half repeating carriage alarm clock, possibly Drocourt or Jacot, the eight-day duration movement no. 2127, with right angle platform escapement, striking the hours and half-hours on a bell with push button repeat, the corniche case with enamelled Roman dial, indistinctly signed, blued steel moon hands, 4 ¾in. (12cm.) high plus handle, no key., , Winds and runs. Strikes the hours and half hour correctly. Repeat button working correctly. Some scratching to top and base of case. Centre of baseplate dented upwards a little. Hairline crack to top right corner of dial plate. Retailer's name worn. Glass all good with no chips or cracks.
