TWO SIMILAR GEORGE II BRASS SOCKET CANDLESTICKS, ONE MAKER STAMPED, BIRMINGHAM, CIRCA 1755. Seamed, each with a cusped flange and cylindrical socket with central narrow fillet, rising-baluster fluted stem, on a spreading petal-base, one stamped twice to the underside 'George Grove', Birmingham (fl.1748-1768), 19.5cm high, (2).
