A worksplate, REBUILT 1948 HORWICH. Despite extensive research we have been unable to attribute this plate to a particular engine. It is, however, one of a specialist collection of Horwich worksplates which we are currently selling and we are confident that it is genuine as it has pattern numbers visible on the front, each side of the wording and is the same size or marginally larger than other plates from this Works. Cast brass, 10½"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
