A pair of Victorian campaign medals, consisting of the Afghan Medal 1878-80, without clasp, and the India General Service Medal 1854, with two clasps,
Burma 1885-7 and Burma 1887-89; named to 1547 Private T Haywood, 51-Foot and 1- Yorks LI.
These are later issues, named in small indented block capitals and are probably replacements. Pte Thomas Haywood served in the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry during these campaigns and was transferred to the Army Reserve on 18 June 1888. Extremely Fine (EF) condition.
