the first, indistinct maker's mark only, with a plain circular bowl and turned wooden handle, 34cm long; the second, probably by Joseph Smith I, London 1732, with a side-lipped oval bowl and turned wooden handle, 37.5cm long; the third, by James Smith I, London 1729, with a circular bowl and turned fruitwood handle, 36cm long.
