First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A vivid yellow and purple picture of the famous Russian playwright Maxim Gorky by Stenberg Brothers on the front cover. Maxim Gorky is the focus of this week’s edition and inside are articles ‘About Gorky’, ‘The Revolutionary Life of Gorky’ and ‘Maxim Gorky in Nizem Novgorod’ - his home town.
