A Victorian sampler stamp holder, late 19th century, formed from perforated paper with red and blue stitching, embroidered to one side with 'In England letters find no grace unless they bear Victoria's face B&L March 6th', and to the other 'To guard her head from dust and damps this case is made for postage stamps 1888', the holder with ribbon bound folded insert printed 'The President And Committee The London Female Penitentiary', 5.2cm x 6.4cm
