An uncut and unmounted 19th century fan leaf, French, printed in black and grey and hand coloured in shades of blue, depicting a lake in the grounds of an imposing chateau, with people in boats, a gun dog in the water, a gun firing at ducks passing overhead, whilst quietly, to one side, a suitor is presenting his lady with flowers, printed with the words “Lith de Guerrier” to the bottom left, signed Eug.André; together with a second panel suitable for the fan verso, showing a lady, holding a feather fan, being presented with flowers, two small children and a nursemaid, by a pond on which two swans are settled, signed Eug. André, beneath which is printed “2017” (2)
