A Chinese famille verte vase, Kangxi, early 18th century, 中国，五彩花瓶一件，康熙，18世纪初 of inverted baluster form, painted with four phoenix flying amongst lotus flowers and leafy tendrils, two blue concentric rings to the underside 34cm
A tiny interior rim chip. There are a couple of patches on the bodies of the phoenix where the glaze has not taken. The foot rim is slightly misshapen at point of production, but this is a production fault. Some hairline glaze cracks to the interior (see images).
