English Transitional Bar-Hammer Revolver circa 1850, 54-bore double action with 5 ¼ in. octagonal barrel with Birmingham proof-marks, plain 6-shot cylinder with holes individually numbered and with Birmingham proof-marks and nipple-shield. Hammer, frame, trigger-guard and butt-cap with scroll engraving, chequered wooden grips, some nipples broken and action at fault, 12 in. overall.
