A BEAUTIFUL MID 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD FOLD OVER CARD TABLE, the turn & fold table top has canted front corners; so that when folded open the table top takes on an octagonal shape, when the top is folded open you can see the green baize lining; perfect for card games. The table top rests upon a finely fluted column support with a turned collar to the end where it meets the raised platform base. The base is decorated with bead detail and sits on four carved and scrolling legs, with leaf draped knees & fluted bun feet that rests on castors. This is a finely crafted piece of 19th century furniture, in excellent condition for its age, well looked after. The baize lining is in fair/good condition as can be seen in the images. Dimensions: 91 x 46 x 73.5cm (W x D x H – closed).
